Midas Secures $50 Million in Funding to Enhance Tokenized Yield Investment Experience
Midas, a blockchain-based platform that converts institutional yield strategies into tokens, has secured $50 million in Series A funding from investors RRE, Creandum, Framework Ventures, Franklin Templeton, and Coinbase Ventures.
The funds will be used to develop Midas Staked Liquidity (MSL), a separate liquidity layer designed to enable instant redemptions without the need for unwinding positions. This feature is expected to address one of the key challenges facing tokenized yield investors: liquidity.
Midas has been active in the market since 2024, issuing $1.7 billion worth of tokenized assets and distributing $37 million in yield to investors. The company's goal is to provide a more efficient and transparent way for institutional investors to access yield-generating strategies on blockchain platforms.
