The company's decision to stake such a large portion of its ETH is seen as a vote of confidence in Ethereum's future and a testament to the growing trend of institutional cryptocurrency staking. Staking offers a way to earn passive income on digital assets, with the current annual percentage rate (APR) for ETH staking hovering around 3.5% to 5%. On a $260 million stake, this translates to annual earnings between $9.1 million and $13 million.
