CZ Blames Multiple Factors for Bitcoin's Decline
Binance founder Changpeng Zhao (CZ) has attributed the decline in Bitcoin and other crypto assets to multiple factors. Geopolitical tensions, investors shifting towards artificial intelligence, and the typical four-year cycle of the crypto market all contributed to the drop, CZ said.
Bitcoin's value reached an all-time high last October at $126,000 but subsequently lost around 50% of its value. After briefly rising above $96,000, it fell back to around $60,000. Despite short-term price fluctuations, CZ remains confident in the crypto sector's long-term growth.
CZ believes that emerging sectors like artificial intelligence are attracting 'hot money' to the crypto market, which may create pressure in the short term but yield positive results in the long term. He also sees the rapid growth of prediction markets as a positive development for price discovery and liquidity.
