Institutional Investors Drive Bitcoin Accumulation
Bitcoin's price movements have been closely watched by analysts and investors alike, but a recent trend suggests that institutional players may be gaining control of the market. Data from CryptoQuant shows that long-term holders - wallets that have held their coins for at least 150 days - added 212,000 BTC to their portfolios over the past 30 days.
This accumulation is worth more than $14 billion at current prices and marks a significant shift in sentiment among these large investors. In contrast, retail traders have been selling Bitcoin at an accelerated pace since the cryptocurrency's peak in October last year.
