European Investors Favour Banks with Crypto Access
A new study by Börse Stuttgart Digital has shed light on the evolving relationship between European investors and cryptocurrency. The survey polled 6,000 investors across Germany, Italy, Spain, and France, revealing that 35% would switch banks to access better cryptocurrency offerings.
The findings suggest that regulatory clarity is a key driver of investor confidence. Nearly half of respondents said the EU's Markets in Crypto-Assets Regulation (MiCA) has increased their trust in digital assets, describing them as 'safer and more attractive' under the framework.
Spain emerged as the leader in crypto adoption, with 28% of investors already owning digital assets. However, challenges persist, including a lack of education and oversight. Over 60% of respondents felt poorly informed about digital assets, while 76% viewed them as insufficiently regulated.
