Solana Foundation Supports Aave's Recovery Efforts with USDT Contribution

The DeFi ecosystem is slowly recovering from the recent market turmoil caused by the KelpDAO-related rsETH crisis. As part of this recovery process, a notable show of support has come from the Solana Foundation.

Lily Liu, President of the Solana Foundation, stated that the foundation's contribution to Aave's recovery efforts is not only aimed at supporting Aave but also for the overall health of the DeFi ecosystem. According to Liu, 'Economies are not isolated. For Solana to be healthy, all of DeFi needs to be healthy.'

The Solana Foundation will contribute $USDT to Aave through the 'DeFi United' initiative, which aims to close the rsETH collateral gap and restore confidence in the markets.
