XRP ETFs Defy Market Trend with Record $10 Million Inflows
XRP spot ETFs continue to attract investor interest, bucking the trend seen in most cryptocurrency exchange-traded funds. While products linked to Bitcoin and Ethereum face outflows, investment vehicles associated with Ripple receive new capital inflows. Recent data shows that XRP funds received $7.44 million in net inflows on Tuesday, followed by $1.19 million on Wednesday and a further $2.04 million on Friday. The accumulated volume of net inflows into XRP spot ETFs has surpassed $1.44 billion, setting a new all-time record for the category.
The current pace is far from the numbers observed shortly after the funds' launch in November last year, but the results continue to stand out in a market marked by significant redemptions. Bitcoin spot ETFs recorded their fifth consecutive week of net outflows, with investors withdrawing over $315 million. Ethereum-linked funds also performed poorly, accumulating nearly $15 million in withdrawals.
The price of XRP continues to be closely watched by the market. Ripple's token fell to $1.05 on June 4th and 5th, during the period of greatest recent selling pressure. Despite this pressure, buyers managed to defend the support region of $1.00 for the first time in almost two years.
