Bitcoin Market Sees Extreme Fear Amid Institutional Buying Spree
The cryptocurrency market has seen a significant shift in recent days, with the Fear and Greed Index plummeting to 15. This extreme level of fear has been accompanied by a decline in Bitcoin's price, which has dropped from $91,000 to $73,130.
However, despite this bearish sentiment, institutional investors are continuing to pour money into Bitcoin ETFs. These funds have recorded $471 million in single-day net inflows, bringing the cumulative total to $56.5 billion.
This disconnect between sentiment and capital flows is a key feature of the current correction. Historically, periods of extreme fear have often been followed by significant price rallies, as institutional investors take advantage of discounted levels.
