BlackRock's Bitcoin Premium Income ETF Nears Launch

BlackRock is nearing the launch of its iShares Bitcoin Premium Income ETF (BITA), which has filed SEC Form 8-A ahead of a listing. According to Eric Balchunas, funds typically launch within about a week of a Form 8-A filing, making next Thursday a likely start date for BITA trading.

The new ETF will combine holdings in BlackRock's spot Bitcoin ETF with an options-selling strategy to generate additional income and cash flow.

BlackRock currently manages the iShares Bitcoin Trust (IBIT), the world's largest spot Bitcoin ETF, which has recently seen a string of income-focused products combining spot crypto ETFs with options strategies.
