Strategy Unveils Bitcoin-Centric Financial Architecture with Solana and Ethereum
Michael Saylor, executive chairman of Strategy, presented a comprehensive financial architecture at the Strategy World 2026 conference, with Bitcoin as the foundational capital layer.
In his keynote address, Saylor explained that digital credit products can be created above the Bitcoin layer, allowing for more stable instruments and yield generation. He emphasized the importance of removing volatility from Bitcoin to create a more reliable financial system.
Saylor highlighted Strategy's preferred stock, STRC, which maintained its value despite a 45% decline in Bitcoin's price while generating 4.5% dividend returns. This instrument demonstrates the potential for digital credit products to provide stable yields and protect investors from market fluctuations.
The most significant moment of the keynote was when Saylor identified Solana and Ethereum as key distribution platforms for digital credit products. He emphasized that these blockchain networks can support programmable and customizable credit instruments, enabling issuers to tailor volatility parameters and liquidity profiles to specific needs.
