Consensys Canada Executive Moves Significant Ethereum Amount, Deposits to Coinsquare
A recent transaction involving Russell Verbeeten, Managing Director of Consensys Canada, has raised attention in the cryptocurrency space.
According to on-chain data, an address linked to Verbeeten moved 20,426 ETH (approximately $37.26 million) from Aave, a decentralized lending protocol.
The funds were then distributed across ten newly created addresses, with one of them depositing 4,144 ETH into Coinsquare, a Canadian cryptocurrency exchange.
While the move is significant due to its size and the influence of Consensys on the Ethereum ecosystem, it does not appear to be a precursor to a large-scale sale. The majority of the funds remain in newly created wallets, untouched.
