Coinbase Expands Access to Global Crypto Derivatives Markets for U.S. Institutions
Coinbase has expanded its services to cater to the growing demand from U.S. institutions seeking regulated access to crypto market derivatives.
The company has launched a platform that enables eligible firms to trade global crypto options and perpetual futures through Coinbase Financial Markets (CFM), a CFTC-regulated futures commission merchant.
This move addresses the long-standing issue of limited market access for U.S.-based traders, who had previously been locked out of nearly 80% of global crypto markets.
