Binance and Anchorage Digital Partner for Institutional Crypto Trading

Anchorage Digital and Binance have partnered to expand institutional access to digital asset trading through Off-Exchange Settlement powered by Atlas. This integration allows eligible institutional and professional clients to trade on Binance while keeping assets in segregated, secure custody with Anchorage Digital.

The move addresses a major concern for institutional investors entering the crypto market: separating custody from trade execution to reduce operational and counterparty risks. Unlike traditional financial markets, crypto markets often require institutions to pre-fund exchange accounts, leaving assets on trading venues before settlement.

Off-Exchange Settlement changes this model by allowing institutions to access Binance's liquidity while their assets remain under Anchorage Digital's independent custody throughout the trading process. This approach is efficient in utilizing capital since there is no need for collateral to stay parked at the exchange, just like in traditional capital markets.
