Robinhood Founder's Wallet Hacked, Memecoin Price Manipulated

A security incident involving Robinhood's founder has highlighted the risks of private key exposure in cryptocurrency. According to Michael, Chief Business Officer (CBO) of TokenPocket, an attacker gained access to the founder's wallet address after the mnemonic phrase was leaked during a live broadcast.

The hacker used the compromised wallet to purchase a large quantity of '1', a memecoin, causing its market capitalization to surge from $500,000 to $14 million in a short timeframe. However, the price collapsed shortly after, and the attacker moved to the BNB Chain (BSC) to cash out their illicit gains.

The compromised address has been frozen by Robinhood's RPC service, preventing further movement of the stolen assets. However, the funds already traded may be difficult to recover.
