Government Faces Deadline for Response to Bankman-Fried's New Trial Motion

Bankman-Fried was convicted in 2023 on seven counts of fraud and conspiracy related to the collapse of his cryptocurrency exchange FTX. A jury determined he stole billions in customer deposits, and Judge Lewis Kaplan later sentenced him to 25 years in prison.
