Guarda Wallet Revolutionizes Tron Transactions with Gas-Free USDT
Guarda Wallet, a non-custodial cryptocurrency wallet supporting over 1 million digital assets across 70+ blockchain networks, has introduced gas-free USDT transactions on Tron in early 2025. This feature allows users to send USDT without needing to hold or buy TRX, the native token of the Tron network.
The problem Guarda aimed to solve was that when users receive USDT in their wallets, they often have to pay for transaction fees in TRX. However, many users only use stablecoins like USDT and do not need or want to hold multiple assets, including gas tokens.
To activate the feature, users can create a dedicated gas-free wallet within Guarda's USDT (TRC-20) wallet and share the generated address to receive USDT. Once the funds arrive, they can be withdrawn with a fixed transaction fee of 1.5 USDT.
As of 2026, the feature processes millions of USDT in daily transaction volume, making it one of the most popular features in the Guarda ecosystem.
