Visa Expands Blockchain Capabilities with Tempo Validator Node

Visa has taken a significant step into the world of blockchain by launching a validator node on the Tempo network. The company joins Stripe and Zodia Custody as an anchor validator, operating its own internal infrastructure to confirm and process transactions on the real-time stablecoin payments network.

The validator node was built over six months in collaboration with Tempo's engineering team, demonstrating Visa's commitment to the development of blockchain technology. By placing itself inside the transaction confirmation layer, Visa is contributing to the security and performance of the network.
