Gillibrand Vows to Block CLARITY Act Without Ethics Provision

US Senator Kirsten Gillibrand has reiterated the importance of including an ethics provision in the CLARITY Act, a proposed legislation aimed at regulating the crypto market.

Gillibrand stated that without the provision, which would prevent senior public officials from profiting from insider status, there will be no votes for the bill. She emphasized that consumer protection and illicit finance are also crucial unresolved issues in the bill.
