Casper Network Unveils Ambitious Multi-Year Roadmap for Regulated Blockchain Adoption
The Casper Network has taken a significant step forward in its mission to make blockchain technology more accessible, secure, and efficient with the publication of the Casper Manifest.
The Casper Manifest is a multi-year roadmap outlining nine initiatives aimed at bringing regulated real-world asset tokenization and machine-to-machine economy to the forefront of blockchain development.
The roadmap focuses on several key areas, including developer access, user experience, institutional compliance, privacy, micropayments, and quantum safety.
One of the main goals is to bring EVM compatibility to Casper's WebAssembly foundation, allowing developers to bring their existing contracts and tools to the platform without modification.
The roadmap also aims to make blockchain technology more user-friendly by introducing gasless transactions, batch operations, and smart accounts that enable biometric authentication.
Compliance and privacy are also major focuses of the Casper Manifest, with the introduction of compliant security tokens and a multi-phase privacy roadmap that delivers confidential transactions with fixed, predictable costs.
The roadmap also highlights the importance of quantum-safe cryptography, which will be implemented through hybrid accounts that carry both classical and quantum-resistant keys during a transition period.
