Ethereum Co-Founder Proposes AI-Assisted Wallets for Secure Crypto Transactions
Ethereum co-founder Vitalik Buterin has proposed the integration of artificial intelligence (AI) in cryptocurrency transactions.
In a recent discussion on Farcaster, Buterin emphasized the potential benefits of AI-assisted wallets, where algorithms suggest transaction plans but users must manually confirm large transfers.
The approach would involve an optimal workflow for high-value situations, where an AI system proposes a plan and a local light client simulates the transaction. The user would then review the intended action and required outcome before manually confirming it.
This method aims to reduce risks associated with theft and privacy issues, as Buterin warned that relying solely on AI could be untrustworthy for multi-million-dollar transactions or control over large amounts of money.
