Kraken Becomes Official Crypto Exchange Supporter of 2026 World Cup
Cryptocurrency exchange Kraken has partnered with FIFA to become the Official Crypto Exchange Supporter of the FIFA World Cup 2026. The seven-week partnership, which starts on June 11 and ends on July 19, covers the global soccer tournament that will feature 48 teams competing in 104 matches across 16 cities in Canada, Mexico, and the United States.
Kraken targets major platform exposure through the event, which organizers project will attract a cumulative global audience exceeding 6 billion people. The company's co-CEO Arjun Sethi said, 'Football has always crossed borders. So does crypto.'
Kraken will initiate its promotional activities on Wednesday with a multi-country and multi-city countdown concert preceding the opening match. The San Francisco-based exchange operates in more than 190 countries and plans to deliver fan-focused product experiences in North America and Europe.
