According to data from crypto exchanges, the token has lost around 96% of its value since reaching an all-time high near $73-$75 in early 2025, with over $4.3 billion in evaporated paper value for early believers.

The event's promoter limited attendance to the top 297 holders of the $TRUMP meme coin, based on an on-chain leaderboard of wallet balances rather than traditional ticket sales.

Despite the token's decline, hundreds of top token holders attended the gala, which featured speeches, merch, and photo ops with Donald Trump. The event's exclusivity was compromised due to the crash, exposing retail pain and the shrinking appeal of personality-driven political tokens.
