Drift Protocol Faces Backlash After Massive Hack

Drift Protocol, a Solana-based perpetual futures exchange, is reeling from a $285 million hack that has left users questioning the project's intentions.

A recent report by blockchain analysis platform Onchain Lens revealed that a wallet linked to the Drift team had transferred 56.25 million DRIFT tokens into centralized exchanges Bybit and Gate, valued at approximately $2.44 million.

The timing of this transfer has raised concerns among the community, as it comes during a severe liquidity crisis following the hack on April 1.
