XRP Ledger Boosts Efficiency with fixCleanup3_1_3 Upgrade

The XRP Ledger is taking steps to enhance its performance with the upcoming fixCleanup3_1_3 upgrade. This update addresses a number of issues that have been affecting the network's efficiency.

The main feature of this upgrade is the automatic deletion of expired NFTokenOffer entries. These entries take up space in the ledger state, and their removal will help reduce data burden on nodes and improve overall network performance.

In addition to cleaning up expired listings, the fixCleanup3_1_3 amendment also addresses issues with Permissioned Domains, a feature that allows controlled access environments on the ledger. It fixes trust line limitations related to vault withdrawals and patches accounting and loan process integrity within the lending protocol.

The adoption of this upgrade is gaining momentum, with approximately 40-46% of node operators having already upgraded as of mid-May. The XRPL Foundation has issued a call for faster upgrades, and the default vote for the amendment is set to 'Yes.'
