Rakuten Wallet Expands Shiba Inu Promotions with Souvenir Coin and Token Rewards

Rakuten Wallet is stepping up its promotional efforts for Shiba Inu (SHIB) in Japan by launching new campaigns and creating a physical souvenir coin. The initiative aims to increase SHIB's retail exposure through merchandise and token reward programs, rather than introducing a new blockchain asset.

The company will offer up to 1.5 million SHIB to eligible customers who meet spot cryptocurrency trading thresholds, with users trading more than ¥30,000 receiving 500,000 SHIB and those exceeding ¥100,000 qualifying for an additional one million SHIB.

Rakuten Wallet's move follows earlier promotions that rewarded users with SHIB and Dogecoin (DOGE) through social media activities. The company has also added both meme coins to its list of supported digital assets, further expanding SHIB's presence within the Rakuten ecosystem.
