Bank of America Reveals Crypto Holdings Worth Approximately $53 Million
Bank of America's latest Q1 13F filing has provided insights into the bank's investments in cryptocurrency-related assets. According to the filing, the bank holds a total of approximately $53 million in various crypto ETFs and related concept stocks.
The largest single holding is BlackRock's IBIT, valued at around $37 million, comprising a significant portion of Bank of America's total crypto holdings. Additionally, the bank has notable allocations in Bitwise (BITB) and Grayscale mini funds, with valuations of around $7.98 million and $3.32 million respectively.
Notably, Bank of America has significantly reduced its Ethereum ETF holdings, retaining only 67,492 shares of BlackRock's ETHA product, valued at approximately $1.06 million. It has also cut back on its Solana ETF exposure. The bank maintains a relatively stable holding in the XRP ETF.
The filing also reveals that Bank of America holds around $660 million worth of shares in Strategy (MSTR), highlighting the bank's broader investment strategies beyond cryptocurrencies.
