Ethereum Co-founder Vitalik Buterin Sells Large Amount of Ether

Vitalik Buterin, the co-founder of Ethereum, has made significant moves in the crypto market by selling a substantial amount of Ether (ETH). According to on-chain data tracked by Lookonchain, he offloaded 1,869 ETH worth approximately $3.7 million over the last two days. This sale comes amidst a recent price drop of Ether's price to $1,856.

This sale brings his total disposals this year to nearly 9,000 ETH, valued at around $18 million. However, despite the liquidation, Buterin still holds over 224,000 ETH, a stake valued at roughly $429 million at current market prices. This makes him one of the largest known individual holders of the asset.
