Institutional Investors Overwhelmingly Bullish on Cryptocurrencies
A recent survey of 351 institutional investors has revealed an overwhelmingly bullish sentiment towards cryptocurrencies. According to the study, published by EY-Parthenon and Coinbase, three out of four respondents believe that crypto prices will rise in the next 12 months.
The findings suggest that despite recent price drops, large investors are not losing confidence in the market. In fact, nearly half (49%) of respondents said they would be putting more emphasis on managing risk, liquidity, and position size, given the volatility in the market.
Regulated products, such as spot crypto ETFs or exchange-traded products (ETPs), are becoming increasingly popular among institutional investors. A staggering 66% of respondents already have access to these products, while 81% said they would prefer to access crypto through a registered vehicle.
