Global Crypto Market Surges to $2.55 Trillion
The global cryptocurrency market has experienced a significant surge, reaching $2.55 trillion in total value. This represents a 0.9% increase over the past 24 hours, with a total trading volume of $89.4 billion.
Bitcoin and Ethereum, two of the largest cryptocurrencies by market capitalization, have also seen gains. Bitcoin has risen to $72,885, up 0.85% in 24 hours, while Ethereum has reached $2,242.11, gaining 2.03% over the same period.
However, not all altcoins have fared well. RaveDAO led the gainers with a 71.06% rise, followed by Dash at 22.83% and DeXe at 12.65%. In contrast, Bittensor fell 11.31%, World Liberty Financial dropped 7.05%, and Venice Token slipped 5.97% over the last 24 hours.
The Crypto Fear and Greed Index currently stands at 15, which indicates extreme fear among traders. This suggests that despite the gains in major coins, investors remain cautious and are taking a risk-averse approach to trading.
