Cryptocurrency Market Sees Significant Outflows from Spot Bitcoin and Ethereum ETFs

The cryptocurrency market has seen significant outflows from spot Bitcoin and Ethereum ETFs over the past four months, with a total of $9.1 billion withdrawn from these funds. This trend is particularly notable in the US market, where investors have been pulling funds from these exchange-traded funds since October 2025, when Bitcoin set a price record.

In February alone, the spot Bitcoin ETF sector experienced capital outflows totaling $206.52 million, while the spot Ethereum ETF sector saw outflows of $369.87 million. This negative trend has continued for four consecutive months, with investors withdrawing funds from these exchange-traded funds at an alarming rate.
