$60K Bottom Call Sparks Debate Among Bitcoin Traders
Coinbase CEO Brian Armstrong has staked his claim that $60,000 is Bitcoin's bottom, citing the cryptocurrency's four-year halving cycle as a guiding principle. Speaking out on June 15, Armstrong noted that the recent decline in price was relatively mild compared to previous crypto winters.
Bitcoin had touched approximately $59,743 on June 5, its lowest level since October 2024. However, it quickly rebounded to over $66,000 in the days that followed, suggesting some buyers saw value at those levels.
The market isn't entirely convinced of Armstrong's bottom call, with a recent poll on X showing only 44% of respondents agreeing with him. The remaining 56% said they didn't believe the bottom was in.
