Hinkal Protocol has revealed that its recent security incident was isolated to a single Ethereum smart contract, leaving all other supported blockchains unaffected.

The team has identified a preliminary root cause and is working with external security specialists to verify the findings before publishing a complete technical analysis.

The protocol reported that the attack did not impact its deployments outside of Ethereum, stating 'The incident was isolated to a single smart contract on Ethereum. Deployments on all other chains were not affected.'
