Ethereum Price Sees Institutional Boost as Morgan Stanley Staking ETF Nears Launch
Ethereum's price has been fluctuating, reaching $1,869.20 on July 15, down 1.13% from the previous day.
The cryptocurrency reclaimed both the 20-day and 50-day moving averages for the first time since its February collapse.
Morgan Stanley's amended ETF filings for a staking Ethereum product were released on the same day that shorts lost $115.86M in liquidations, adding an institutional catalyst to the technical setup showing signs of recovery.
According to Coinglass data, volume surged 40.99% to $47.05B while open interest rose 9.01% to $26.70B, indicating fresh positioning rather than position closures.
The Morgan Stanley ETF will offer staking rewards directly to shareholders, setting it apart from existing spot products.
