Startale Group Secures $63 Million Funding from SBI Group

Startale Group has secured $63 million in Series A funding, with SBI Group leading the investment. The second close of the round follows an initial $13 million contribution from Sony Innovation Fund in January 2026.

The additional $50 million from SBI will support the development of Strium, a blockchain platform for tokenized securities and financial applications. This includes the JPYSC stablecoin, co-developed with SBI through a joint venture in 2025.

Startale Group aims to leverage this funding to expand its Superapp, providing seamless access to digital assets for over 80 million customers within the SBI ecosystem.
