Fireblocks Expands ADA Custody Services with Staking and Governance

Fireblocks has taken a significant step forward in its efforts to provide institutional clients with comprehensive services for Cardano's ADA cryptocurrency. By integrating its RAW signing technology with Iagon's enterprise Cardano nodes and Insights API, Fireblocks enables approved institutions to securely create and sign custom transactions.

The integration is a major expansion of Fireblocks' ADA custody services, which now include staking and governance capabilities. This means that institutional clients can delegate ADA to stake pools and vote on Cardano governance proposals directly through the platform.

Notably, this upgrade is regulated by the New York Department of Financial Services under Fireblocks Trust, ensuring qualified custody with zero counterparty risk. Iagon supports this infrastructure and has recently secured a $1.5 million ADA-denominated loan backed by IAG tokens to fund development.
