Buterin Unveils Anonymous Message Board Demo on Ethereum's Aztec Layer-Two

Ethereum co-founder Vitalik Buterin has created a demo of an anonymous message board built on the Ethereum layer-two scaling solution Aztec.

The project, which Buterin shared via his Farcaster account, allows users to post messages anonymously while incorporating mechanisms to filter out spam and illegal content.

Buterin described the project as a 'vibe coding' exercise, based on an idea he first outlined in a 2022 blog post. He stated, 'I vibe-coded based on an idea from a 2022 blog post. It's still in an early stage, but you can do some pretty interesting things with it.'

The demo leverages Aztec's privacy-focused architecture, which uses zero-knowledge proofs to enable confidential transactions and private smart contracts on Ethereum.
