American Innovation Project Enhances Congressional Digital Asset Expertise

The American Innovation Project (AIP), a US tech policy advocacy organization, has expanded its team with the addition of two new policy researchers. The appointments are aimed at enhancing congressional members' understanding and development of policies related to emerging technologies such as artificial intelligence and digital assets.

One of the new hires is Jacob Smagula, who brings extensive experience in the crypto industry. Before joining AIP, Smagula worked on government affairs for MARA, a Bitcoin mining firm, and currently contributes to policy research at the DeFi Education Fund.
