Visa's Stablecoin Settlement Pilot Expands to Nine Blockchains

Visa's stablecoin settlement pilot has reached new heights with its expansion to nine supported blockchains. The program, which has seen a 50% quarter-over-quarter growth in annualized run rate, now supports a diverse range of layer-1 blockchains.

The addition of five new blockchains brings the total number of supported blockchains to nine. These include Arc, Base, Canton, Polygon, and Tempo, in addition to Avalanche, Ethereum, Solana, and Stellar. This expansion is expected to provide more choice for partners while streamlining operations.
