Lace flagged a fake website called Lacedesktop.io as a threat to its users. The scammers behind this site are attempting to deceive people into sharing their sensitive data by posing as reliable sources. Phishing scams often occur through emails containing malicious links or attachments that can install malware on the user's device or direct them to counterfeit websites.

Lace has explicitly stated that it will never ask users for their recovery phrase or private keys, and is urging everyone to stay safe and use official channels only.
