Tether Treasury Conducts Largest USDT Burn on Ethereum Since February

Tether Treasury conducted its largest USDT burn on Ethereum since February, burning $2.5 billion worth of tokens on July 7.

This move marked a significant reduction in the Ethereum-based USDT supply, exceeding the $2 billion burn recorded on May 8.

Notably, Binance's USDT reserve on Tron simultaneously declined to approximately $806 million, its lowest reading since December 29, 2025.

The simultaneous contraction of both Ethereum supply and Binance's Tron transfer liquidity may indicate a larger trend in the cryptocurrency market.
