Bitcoin Accumulation Addresses Surge Amid Miner Selling Decline
The recent trend of Bitcoin accumulation addresses has been significant, absorbing 67,000 BTC over a short period. According to CryptoQuant data, accumulator addresses have increased their holdings by roughly 48.5% in just seven days.
This surge in accumulation coincides with a sharp decline in miner-led selling activity. The Miners' Position Index (MPI) has dropped to levels last seen in 2024, indicating reduced selling pressure from miners.
The data suggests that long-term holders are steadily absorbing Bitcoin while miners are selling less, reducing the amount of coins entering circulation.
