Binance Delists Five Altcoins Amid Low Trading Volume and Liquidity
Binance's latest decision has sent shockwaves through the crypto market, with five altcoins set to be removed from its spot trading platform. The affected tokens are Automata (ATA), Harvest Finance (FARM), Enzyme (MLN), Phoenix (PHB), and Syscoin (SYS).
The move was announced by Binance in a statement that cited low trading volume and liquidity as the reason for delisting. This is not the first time Binance has taken action against these tokens, with Harvest Finance, Enzyme, and Syscoin having previously been tagged with a 'Monitoring Tag' in April.
The impact of this decision will be felt immediately, with prices for all five tokens dropping sharply. However, users will still be able to withdraw their assets until July 27, giving them time to migrate to alternative exchanges or convert their holdings into stablecoins if available.
