Missouri Advances State-Backed Digital Asset Reserve Proposal
Missouri is one step closer to becoming the first U.S. state to establish a state-backed digital asset reserve.
The House Committee Substitute for House Bill No. 2080 has passed out of committee and will be sent to the full House floor for consideration.
The proposed fund would allow the Missouri Digital Reserve Treasurer to hold, invest in, and manage multiple cryptocurrencies, including XRP. This marks a significant development in the state's approach to digital assets. The bill would establish a structured framework for cryptocurrency management, which could greatly benefit XRP and other listed assets.
