$100 Million Fund of Funds Launched to Foster US-Japan Tech Collaboration
A new $100 million fund-of-funds has been established by SBI Holdings in partnership with Across Ventures, a venture capital firm led by former Ripple VP Emi Yoshikawa. The fund will focus on investing in micro-VCs that specialize in cutting-edge technologies such as artificial intelligence (AI), blockchain, and next-generation computing.
The alliance aims to create a direct bridge between the U.S. startup ecosystem and Japanese corporations, allowing for increased collaboration and investment opportunities. SBI Holdings' participation as the anchor Limited Partner (LP) solidifies its relationship with Across Ventures, which has been working together for some time.
