Musk's Billion-Dollar Crypto Holdings Exposed

Cryptocurrency analyst Ali Martinez pointed out that Elon Musk, who recently became the world's first trillionaire, owns Bitcoin and Dogecoin. In a Twitter post, Martinez paired a line drawing of Musk with the Bitcoin logo, saying 'The world's first TRILLIONAIRE owns Bitcoin. Let that sink in.'

Musk's companies, Space Exploration Technologies Corp. (SPCX) and Tesla Inc. (TSLA), also hold BTC on their balance sheets. SpaceX holds 18,712 BTC as of March 31, recognized at a fair value of $1.29 billion. At current prices, this stash would be worth $1.19 billion. Tesla holds 11,509 BTC, worth more than $734 million.

The details about Musk's personal BTC holdings remain sketchy, with no clear update since he revealed owning only 0.25 BTC in 2020. Martinez also mentioned that Musk owns some Dogecoin apart from Bitcoin and Ethereum, which he disclosed in 2018 but did not specify the amount.
