Spacecoin Aims to Democratize Access to Decentralized Internet

Spacecoin is an innovative project that seeks to bridge the digital divide by providing decentralized internet access to both space-based data centers and underconnected communities on Earth.

The project has launched its first satellite, CTC-0, in December 2024, which marked a significant milestone in establishing ground-to-satellite connectivity. The team has also facilitated the world's first end-to-end blockchain transaction through space in October 2025.

In November 2025, Spacecoin expanded its network with three additional satellites, enabling testing of intersatellite links and paving the way for direct satellite-to-satellite communication without routing every byte back through Earth.
