Coinbase Enables AI Agents to Trade Cryptocurrencies and Execute Payments

Coinbase has launched 'Coinbase for Agents', a new product that enables AI agents to trade cryptocurrencies, execute payments, and manage user portfolios. Coinbase has been preparing for this future by introducing Agentic Wallets earlier this year. This wallet infrastructure is designed specifically for AI agents and allows autonomous software to hold funds, send payments, earn yield, and trade digital assets within predefined security guardrails.
