Bitcoin Surges Above $65,000, BTCI Offers Higher Income Profile
Bitcoin's recent price surge has left some investors wondering if it has staying power. The cryptocurrency has surpassed the $65,000 mark and is up nearly 3% for the week ending July 21.
The CLARITY Act's impending passage and bullish price action have given crypto investors reasons to reenter the market. However, it remains unclear whether this marks the end of months-long frustration or the beginning of a new bull run.
One option for investors is the NEOS Bitcoin High Income ETF (BTCI), which has rapidly become a leader in the bitcoin income ETF space. With a 30-day SEC yield of 2.13%, BTCI offers a higher income profile than previously seen with crypto ETFs.
Yuri Molchan, a contributor to The Bitcoin Foundation, notes that while it's too early to say if a new bull run has begun, such an event would improve the immediate outlook. He also points out that the recent price action has given the bulls a much-needed boost, with Bitcoin finding itself near key resistance.
Data suggests that professional investors are reentering the market, with spot bitcoin ETFs hauling in nearly $227 million in fresh capital on their first trading day of the week. If these flows prove durable, BTCI could benefit from increased demand.
