Nvidia Pumps $196M Into Revolut Amid Growing Crypto Ambitions

Nvidia's investment arm, NVentures, has put $196 million into Revolut, a UK-based digital bank. The funding is part of a secondary sale that saw current shareholders and staff sell off some of their own stakes. This sale also attracted big-name investors like Coatue, Greenoaks, Dragoneer, Fidelity, Andreessen Horowitz, Franklin Templeton, and T. Rowe Price.

The valuation of Revolut as a result of this funding is $75 billion, making it one of the most highly valued privately held tech companies in Europe. While Nvidia has not explicitly stated its investment goals, this transaction could strengthen Revolut's position in Europe's regulated digital asset market.
