Bitcoin Whales Accumulate Record Amount of BTC Amid Market Volatility
Bitcoin's largest investors are buying up the cryptocurrency once again after months of selling. According to data from Santiment, wallets holding over 1,000 BTC now control a record 7.17 million Bitcoin, the highest level since March 14.
This surge in holdings comes despite recent volatility and a sharp correction that pushed prices toward $60,000. Despite this, whales have reversed their previous trend of selling during market downturns and are instead accumulating at a rapid pace.
These large investors typically move slowly and focus on long-term value rather than short-term price swings. Their buying activity can provide clues about future market sentiment and may even help fuel the next major rally for Bitcoin, particularly if macroeconomic conditions improve and spot ETF inflows strengthen.
